Well, it’s been a long minute since i’ve posted, but i will try my best to refresh more. June has been an insane month for work and unfortunately the blog suffers. To get things back in full swing, i’d thought i’d post a pic of me donating a bigass cheque for $4,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Japan Relief fund from a group show I put together back in April, Origin of the Sun. Not sure why but it was a little difficult getting in touch with the Red Cross and then the mail strike happened, yadda yadda and here it is. Thanks again to all involved, we did a real good thing.
Can’t believe May has come and gone. Couple cool projects have been accomplished this month but nothing as awesome as working with the Toronto Argonauts. I will be working with their beautiful cheerleaders this weekend doing all their promo and web shots. I said it before and I’ll say it again, ”It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it.” stay tuned…
Last April, Total Science touched down in Toronto and tore it up. Enjoy this quick promo vid for AUX.

Back in December I was fortunate enough to work with the Edmonton Oilers on an exciting new project. The team introduced a cheer squad called Octane. After a couple trips out west, couple lost bags and lots of good times the calendar was created. The concept of the calendar was to basically go back and forth through the idea of production & participation of a NHL hockey game. The month of May is hosted by Catriona. I will be posting all previous months of the calendar before the next month.
From his debut in UFC 46, GSP has wowed the crowd. He is all dojo and has dedicated himself to being the best fighter pound for pound. This is an outtake from a shoot with Peace Magazine back in 2007. It was shot @ Montreal’s Tristar Gym. I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t want to see him take Jake Shields out in Toronto’s debut UFC 129. I’m calling a 5th round KO by GSP. Watch out for those elbows Shields.

Just in time for the sold out UFC 129 in Toronto Town, MMA Guide launches it’s premiere issue. Cover story, Cain Velasquez, this guy is no joke, it was a real pleasure to work with him. Enjoy UFC week Toronto!
This friday is all for charity. I have put together a team of artists and designers to raise money for the relief effort in Japan. The whole team has been working really hard and I am proud of everyones efforts. The artwork in the show is priced to sell and all proceeds go towards the Red Cross. Some special guests have also been added to the roster for the evening, so make sure you come out, support and enjoy the show…peace.
I recently spent 3 days riding Revelstoke Mountain. It was the best snowboarding experience to date. There are many more images to post. This one is just to get the taste buds going.
Aside from some of the very distinct fashion statements made in Tokyo, i noticed knee socks were a staple item in almost all female outfits & uniforms. A couple years ago, i made a photo essay in Peace magazine that illustrated this. The image shown above is in my Top 5 images I took while in Japan. It has so much of a narrative, I love it: a young, Japanese, school girl crossing paths with corporate society, while the influence of a cosmetic billboard looks down on her and on top, an excited dog watching it all…
